Possibilities of use

New possibilities of use are unfolded with the modernization and the expansion of the “Hohenstaufenhalle”.

The assemblage of the actual Arena and the new Gymnasium to the west provides the EWS Arena with two connected event halls, which can also be used self-sufficiently.

At the front end of the gyms two LED screens each eight sq. m. and 15 further Plasma screens can support communication and enhance the quality of stay. The modern technology is controlled centrally from the new media platform, which is located alongside the southern wall of the Arena. The TV partners are positioned here with enough space for hosts and cameras.

Press seats are located beneath the media platform in the EWS Arena. An ideal view of the event is offered here alongside a Press conferences can be broadcasted into the Arena and the VIP-Area in the future. The new press area is fully equipped with communication technology. This area is located on the northern gallery and is also suited as an event or organizing office.

Visitors are cared for at two prominent bars in the spacious Foyer. The stage can be integrated by opening six folding doors, the U-shaped bars enable outdoor service.
